  granny's birthday
it's getting real bad. is 2.51am and im still not asleep.

it was granny's birthday on saturday and she has moved to seletar. the moment i open the gate and went to greet granny, almost twenty pair of eyes were looking at me and started to wonder who this boy is. the aunties were started to talk about me and my sisters. i was sitting until the buffet was ready. cousins and relatives came and even i know them, we did not exchange a single word. its was a sad thing that once we were close and after moving to our houses, the connection is gone.

as i was sitting on the bench,

2nd aunt: aiyo, taolin so tall and big. aiyo. i cant even recongize you leh.
2nd aunt's daughter-in-law: i see him during new year, ya lor, he so big sia.

and it keeps going on until we went home. i was thinking, do u need to talk until so loud and the whole world knows about it. the power of women. sigh. but most importantly, what matters the most is my granny to be happy. anyway, she's 86 this year.

renew my mind and spirit of wisdom.
